The access to #Pain-n-Passion is for adults only! There's no argueing about it - full stop. Minors will
be asked to leave immediately. Violation will result in a ban.
In #Pain-n-Passion basically anything goes. You just have to agree on it.
The only type of fights which we don't really like to see, are death matches. Nonetheless, if you both agree on that type of fight...
we won't hold you back and make sure the undertaker is waiting outside ;)
Be real. Ok, it's a fantasy
and it's only virtual, but unless you've agreed on a fantasy fight, where
you're wonder woman and super girl, keep it as real as possible. Describe
your actions with detail. Include descriptions of the damage done to you.
And remember, you're not a machine. You're tiring out and the pain from
earlier attacks, if not even injuries, pay their toll after a while. Include
such things as well. Let your opponent know, how your are.
Don't ever tell your opponent,
how much damage s/he got from your attacks. Describe your attacks with
detail, and let your opponent describe the damage you've inflicted.
Don't change your opponent's
move. If you've been hit, you've been hit. Simple as that. Be realistic
and act accordlingly. If you actually think you can avoid some impact,
read your opponent's move again (...and again if necessary <g>), and
imagine the scene to be real. If you're a few inches away from a wall,
and your head is driven into it, would you actually be able, to raise your
arms and bring them infront of your head...? ... thought so <g>.
Use "yt" (your turn), "otu"
(over to you) and "mtc" (more to come) at the end of your descriptions.
It's required, to let your opponent know, when you're done.
Don't use any moves and holds,
of which you don't know exactly how to apply them. If you can't tell, you
can't use them.
It is highly recommended to split up complex moves into "real" parts. Don't just say "I straddle you, and put you into a camel clutch!"
Such holds require time and the "assistance" of your opponent. Just like in real life an opponent wouldn't let you apply a painfull
hold just because. S/he will offer resistance. Since cyber fights are a turn based thing, be fair and be real, and give your opponent
the chance to react.
Don't ever exceed the limits
of the rules you've agreed on. If you're not sure about the rules of a
certain type of fight, ask.
If you think, there's a problem,
discuss it in private. Ask an OP for assistance if necessary. Troublemakers
are not welcome.
If during or after a public fight in one of our channels an argument comes up, concering the actions of a fighter,
this very fight is automatically considered a NO CONTEST. It won't be posted, and no points are given.
You can't win all the time.
Every fight is a good fight, and if you lose, you lose. Simple as
that. <s>
