On behalf of all who participate on this site, welcome to
I thought, I would take a few moments to tell you all the reasons for this site and the inspiration behind it.
It seems, that over the course of our evolution we have lost some of the things,
that have actually helped us to reach the level we are at today. What I speak of is that basic instinct that drives our passion for personal combat.
I can see how society has evolved into something, where violence in the form of fighting
is not an acceptable method of solving problems. It is like I say a very basic instinct,
and perhaps it has gotten lost in the shuffle of what people consider to be "proper behavior".
I know that deep down most people think thoughts like, "Man would I like to get my hands on that guy(or girl)",
if a frustrating situation happens. That alone shows that that instinct is still alive,
and to pretend that it does not exist would mean that we are only fooling ourselves.
I'm not suggesting we resort to violence to solve our problems, I'm just suggesting that
to be involved with the various types of combat need not be a violence driven activity.
In most cases it seems like a large part of society looks at those whom
partake in combat sports as violent and barbaric people. One of our goals is to shatter
that stereotypical view, that people have of those whom enjoy these activities, and show
that we are actually emotional and sensitive people, no different from anyone else.
We would also like to show, that the people that participate in the various styles of combat,
treat each other with the utmost respect and display a sporting spirit that is as
common here as it is in any other sport.
In the future we will be representing this topic with stories, pictures,
personal accounts, and even fantasy based scenarios. We openly invite everyone to share their
thoughts, views, experiences, or just ramblings with us. Again, thank you for stopping in,
and we hope you enjoy your stay at
